London Street Walk Photos: Set 1

Capturing with a Praktica  BX20 film camera

I have recently been taking my 6 year old son on photo walks around London. He relishes the experience and has started taking his own pictures using a basic point and shoot camera, the Panasonic Lumix DC Vario. These are some the pictures that he captured last week on our photo walk in Bow, East London. He captured the picture above of me spontaneously and for a basic point and shoot and considering he is only 6 years old, I think he did a pretty good job. I have manipulated a couple of the shots below with digital overlapping to create digital art pieces. He helped me to choose the different effects, and he was pretty happy with the results. Let us know what you think, be kind and remember that he is only 6 years old. We are doing this as part of an ongoing homeschooling project.

He took this picture in a vintage car wing mirror.

He noticed a black tiled wall and was captivated by the lights from the cars reflecting on the wall. We added some digital effects using Pixlr.

He took this evening shot of Bow Church and we added a single tricolour effect using pixlr.
