Pink intrigue was born in 2007, Abena Damoah was the architect behind the brand. After tirelessly writing her first anthology of poems, she set out to make a change. Armed with qualifications in Politics, Philosophy and International Journalism. She had already worked in various publications as a reporter, this was her foundation. She needed more, she wanted to create informative, inspirational, transformative content for new, and established brands. To help pull them out of their content production rut, and breathe life into their businesses.
She set up Pink Intrigue on a Friday, by Tuesday of the following week, she had her first client. Inspired by authors like Maya Angelou, James Baldwin, and media moguls like Mo Abudu, she decided to slip into her girlboss shoes and build her empire.
Pink Intrigue has since worked with major brands like MTV, Flavour Magazine and Marketing Sphere. With over 60 freelance writers on the Pink Intrigue books, the company continues to expand. Producing high quality content for global clientele, and for Intrigue media’s lifestyle publications,the Pink Intrigue story continues.
We are a social impact brand, currently providing writing opportunities to young women in Ghana. We believe that women can change the world, we seek to inspire and motivate young women in Ghana to create their own online media platforms. Thus gifting them with a voice, a voice loud enough to provoke change.
In 2014, Damoah diversified the company to include a creative lifestyle branch. Producing distinctive, mixed media visual prints for the home and office. Focusing on providing high quality, creative items to add that pop of colour to your minimalistic space. We have a penchant for creating awesome pieces for the lady bosses out there, to add that style and grace to your work or living space.
